burnout

One more week. If I survive it, I’m free. Life is slipping through my fingers while I do this one damn thing, over and over. And I don’t even know if it’s worth it. The sleepless nights. The emotional numbness. The distance growing between me and the people I love. What do I get at the end of all this? Do I even want it? Who am I without it? Should I push through or walk away? Maybe it is not even burnout, more than that?
