"For people, that do not understand lyrics - it is about the youth, how everything was better ("grass was greener") and we had still some dreams, but we are quitting them later because of other responsibilities in our life (family). But even after that, we have the dreams footprint still inside of us but we are unable to fullfil them and this feeling makes us melancholic. We had also friends but after a while we got separated from each other ("the division bell rings" like in parliament, when they have to cast their vote and decide about the future), and we went each of us with his own way.
The song is very emotional for people having already family, young people maybe cannot understand it as deeply I think, because they do not still appreciate the freedom and opportunity to make their dreams come true and that they can spend the whole day in "world of magnets".
Beautiful song and the top of the music art made by human. Such talents are born once a century."
