Brown will miss at least four weeks after being placed on injured reserve Friday. It's looking more and more like it will be six weeks, however. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported as much on Sunday, sharing that the veteran wide receiver is expected to take more time than the club initially anticipated.

The fortunate thing is we get another week to play a game." New England doesn't just get to play a game, it looks like it will play six before seeing the return of its biggest offseason addition.
