Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has reached out to Anthony Edwards with a message of support as the Minnesota Timberwolves guard prepares for knee surgery. Edwards faces an extended absence after an impressive start to the season, leaving Minnesota without its leading scorer for the foreseeable future. He revealed that he had texted Edwards and encouraged his fellow Olympic teammate to approach rehabilitation with the same intensity he brings to basketball. I know he’s going through some stuff with the knee, but you just got to do what you can with the rehab. Attack it the same way you do getting ready for games,” Curry said.

He could miss around two months, although the final timeline will depend on his recovery. The injury comes at a frustrating time for Edwards, who averaged 33.3 points through Minnesota’s first four games. He recorded 45 points in the season opener against Miami and followed that with 47 against Cleveland.
