Author Correction: Support for climate and biodiversity policies differs across cultural worldviews in Japan
Correction to: Communications Sustainability https://doi.org/10.1038/s44458-026-00110-1, published online 11 July 2026 In the version of this article initially published, there were errors in Table 1, where in the “Policy support for stand-alone biodiversity conservation measures” section, β, b and S.E. values for the “Climate change risk perception” and “Biodiversity loss risk perception” were interchanged. and relatedly, an interchange error in Fig. 1, where the thick arrow between “Climate change risk perception” and “Policy support for stand-alone biodiversity conservation measures” was originally a thin arrow, and where the thin arrow between “Biodiversity loss risk perception” and “Policy support for stand-alone biodiversity conservation measures” was originally a thick arrow. In the Results, the text now reading “Support for stand-alone biodiversity conservation measures was more strongly associated with climate change risk perception than with biodiversity loss risk perception itself (Fig. 1 and Table 1)” originally appeared as “Support for stand-alone biodiversity conservation measures was more strongly associated with climate change risk perception than with biodiversity loss risk perception itself (Fig. 1 and Table 1).” In Supplementary Table 1, column headings for the second and third models were interchanged, while in Supplementary Table 9, “Fisher's C = 63.397 with 16 degrees of freedom” originally listed 12 degrees of freedom and “Akaike's information criterion of this first model was 11821.669” originally read “Akaike's information criterion of the final model was 11821.669.” The table, figure, text and Supplementary Information are now amended in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
