Andrew Skatoff, CEO and CIO of Bancreek Capital Advisors, is back on Behind the Ticker with host Brad Roth for round two, and Bancreek has grown a lot since his last visit. The platform has gone from three ETFs to four, now managing around $300 million, with the newest addition being CLUB, the Billionaires Club ETF. Skatoff and his team rang the NYSE opening bell this year, and he'll be joining a host of advisors and issuers at the ETF Oasis at Future Proof this week.
Bancreek's whole approach still rests on the same foundation: blending old-school fundamental value investing with the data science chops of his partner Anton Yen, a Lawrence Livermore and DARPA alum and Chief Data Scientist at Bancreek. The logic underpinning CLUB is more grounded than the flashy name suggests. It doesn't track what billionaires personally invest in but instead invests in the businesses they built and still hold, using wealth creation itself as a signal that a company has already won structurally.
The portfolio currently holds 30 equal-weighted names, capped at 10% concentration, rebalanced monthly, and runs anywhere from 30 to 70% international exposure depending on where the wealth is actually being created. Skatoff walks through examples from Walmart to Inditex to Warner Music Group to show how the fund essentially acts as a real-time snapshot of global value creation. The philosophy that ties all four Bancreek funds together is one built on the premise that predictable, low-volatility compounding is more valuable than noisy growth that lands at the same return.
Skatoff uses a simple thought experiment of two assets compounding at 10% annually, one smoothly and one erratically to argue that steadiness itself is a signal of structural advantage. As for how advisors should actually use CLUB, Bancreek believes it fits in a 3 to 5% complementary sleeve alongside a passive core, not a replacement for broad index exposure. When Roth brings up competing founder-led ETFs like FFF and BOSS, Skatoff doesn't knock them but instead argues Bancreek's data-driven framework and global approach is what sets CLUB apart amongst these more niche strategies.
