The Cincinnati Bengals have arguably the NFL's best wide receiver duo in Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. But following Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, both of these talented pass catchers are dealing with injuries. Chase suffered a concussion that caused him to miss the entire second half, while Higgins sustained an adductor injury in the closing minutes of the 22-17 loss.
On Monday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Chase is still working through the NFL's concussion protocol and Higgins is now considered day-to-day with his adductor injury. Chase had three catches for 27 yards before his first-half exit. Higgins finished the game with 11 catches for 157 yards.
With Colbie Young and Andrei Iosivas also out with injuries, the Bengals are down to two healthy wide receivers: Dohnte Meyers and Mitchell Tinsley. Meyers had seven catches for 82 yards on Sunday, while Tinsley added 49 yards on three receptions. The Bengals will take the field for a Week 5 matchup against the Miami Dolphins this coming Sunday.
