Monday's entertaining matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams ended with some postgame fireworks when Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson decided to throw a punch at Bills edge rusher Bradley Chubb. And we now know what was said between the two players to start this altercation. Jackson's decision to throw a punch at Chubb is set to have real ramifications, as the starting left tackle is set to miss the team's Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals after the NFL decided to first suspend him two games before ultimately reducing the punishment to just one game.
It's quite atypical to see tensions so high following a game that it comes to a violent interaction. Especially because the Rams and the Bills aren't exactly longstanding rivals by any means. However, based on what Bradley Chubb had to say to Jackson following the game, it makes sense that there appears to be some bad blood between Chubb and Jackson.

And if or when they do potentially face each other again, Chubb had some bold claims about how the matchup is going to go. "I've heard I was talking about his mom," Chubb said, via ESPN's Sarah Barshop.
I said: 'We're gonna see y'all's a** again. And when we see you again, all that chipping ain't gonna save you. That tight end and guard is not going to save you.' He said, 'What'd you say?' I said, 'That chip's not gonna save you.
The guard's not gonna save you.' And then boom." More news: Rob Gronkowski Has Zero Faith in This NFL Team for the Playoffs The only way that the Bills and the Rams would play each other again this season is of course if the Rams and the Bills both make it to Super Bowl LXI. While the Bills do look like clear contenders in the AFC to potentially make it to the Super Bowl, the same thing can not be said at this moment for the Rams in the NFC. However, if the Rams do ultimately turn things around and live up to the expectations many have placed on them coming into the season, it would be fascinating to see a rematch of what has been one of the most entertaining games of the year thus far between these two teams.
The Rams will look to rebound in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals, while the Bills will look to keep their winning ways going against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon.
