We held our last draft with members of our CBS Sports staff on Tuesday, and I decided to select players I haven't had much exposure to this season. This league also includes a fun added element: the winner of the Dan Schneier vs. Adam Aizer charity tennis match for St.
Jude gets the option to swap draft positions and swap fourth-round picks. Dan (co-managed by OJ Webber) kept the No. 2 overall pick and swapped fourth-round picks with Adam to get the opportunity to draft Luther Burden in Round 4. Many Fantasy drafts have already been completed, but we know a lot of you are still drafting up until Wednesday's kickoff between the Patriots and Seahawks or even until Sunday.
So if you're still drafting tonight, this is the most up-to-date draft to use as a guide. I had the No. 10 overall pick, and I decided to draft players that I like but haven't selected much of so far. For example, I picked Chase Brown over James Cook in Round 1, Saquon Barkley over Kenneth Walker III in Round 2, Garrett Wilson over Tee Higgins in Round 3 and Jaylen Waddle over D.J.
I like how this team worked out, especially since I waited on Jared Goff in Round 11. My running back corps is Brown, Barkley, J.K. Dobbins, Jonah Coleman, Brian Robinson Jr., and Kimani Vidal, and I have Wilson, Waddle, Christian Watson, Chris Godwin, Jalen Coker, and Chris Bell at receiver.
Kyle Pitts is my tight end. Running back depth could be a concern, especially if Brown or Barkley get injured. But I love my receiving corps, and my starting lineup should be among the best in the league.
As a reference point for this mock draft, all touchdowns are worth six points, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing. We also award one point for every reception. We feature a starting lineup of QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), DST and K with six reserves for a 16-round draft. 2.
