Big 12 teams that landed in the top 10 of the initial College Football Playoff rankings clash when the ninth-ranked BYU Cougars face the third-ranked Utah Utes on Saturday afternoon. BYU is coming off a 27-20 win over Arizona State in Week 9, while Utah posted a 49-25 win at Cincinnati. The Cougars (7-1, 4-1 Big 12), who are second in the conference, are 2-1 on the road this season.
The Utes (8-0, 5-0 Big 12), who are first in the league, are 5-0 on their home field. Kickoff is set for noon ET at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Utah leads the all-time series 59-34-4, but BYU has won each of the last three meetings, including 24-21 last year.
