Last season, Trey McBride had a breakout campaign for the Arizona Cardinals, ranking amongst many of the game's best NFL wide receivers statistically. McBried tied for second with 126 receptions and also for second with his 11 touchdown receptions. His 1,239 receiving yards were the sixth-best in the NFL, with McBride trailing players including the Cincinnati Bengals' JaMarr Chase and the Dallas Cowboys' George Pickens.
On Thursday, the NFL revealed McBride's spot among the NFL Top 100 players heading into 2026, as voted on by other players. McBride moved up significantly on the list, landing at the No. 13 spot overall. "52-spot jump for 85 and still rising," the Cardinals wrote in their X post reacting to McBride's new spot.

"One of the bigger [expletive]-talkers in the NFL," Los Angeles Rams safety Quentin Lake said to kick things off. "And he's gonna let you hear about it.
"He can block, run routes, is looking for blood on the sidelines. Can go outside and catch a fade ball or a slant in the red zone," Lake later said of the Cardinals star. "That ball comes his way a lot, and he makes a lot of plays.
This dude's the real deal. He's pretty much like a receiver," Indianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox said of McBride. McBride reflected on his game against the Houston Texans as one of his favorites last season.
In that game, he had 12 receptions for 134 yards and scored two touchdowns in front of a bunch of family members, who attended the game in Houston. During his video, an off-camera individual also mentioned a stunning stat: a 74% completion percentage for passes thrown to McBride. "At 74%, I still feel there's a lot of room for improvement.
