Ciara Miller and her pro partner Brandon Armstrong were sent home this week on Dancing With the Stars, despite earning their personal best score of the season and doing an amazing job with “Mariah Carey Night.” It was upsetting to say the least! Ciara spoke about leaving the show with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “I mean, I’m sad obviously, I’m bummed. Yeah, I’m processing, you know?
But bummed to say the least.” As for the biggest thing she learned on DWTS, she said, “The ability to come out here and not be perfect, I think. It’s easy to be in the public eye and only want to present the most perfect side of yourself. So this is definitely a fun experience to get out of that comfort zone.” Ciara also talked about how special it was to have the support from so many fans, saying, “I couldn’t even put into words what that means.” Meanwhile, Brandon said of the elimination, “She shouldn’t have gone home.
But look at the end of the day, people are voting for a million different reasons, and ultimately they do tell you to vote for your favorite couple. It’s entertainment just as much as it’s dance. So, you feel bummed because you feel like you’re squeezing all the juice out of the lemon, and it gets cut short.
But it is what it is, and I wish it was different, obviously, but I’m proud of her.”
