The wide receiver was seen running off the field before the rest of his teammates as the Cowboys lost to the Cardinals.

After the Dallas Cowboys embarrassingly lost to the Arizona Cardinals after holding a 14-point lead at the end of the third quarter on Sunday, wide receiver George Pickens was seen running into the locker room by himself before his teammates were even off the field. Pickens went viral for this move on Sunday, sparking conversation that he maybe isn't happy with the Cowboys right now. That'd be understandable as it's hard to not be fed up with the Cowboys right now.

Sunday's loss was a prime example of that. On top of the loss, Pickens was only targeted by quarterback Dak Prescott four times on Sunday as the receiver caught two passes for 48 yards. It's clear he isn't getting the targets he expected, which could be adding to his frustrations.

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones was asked about Pickens's feelings regarding his offensive decrease when speaking on 105.3 The Fan on Monday. Jones doesn't seem concerned about Pickens's temperament. I don’t think so," Jones said when asked if Pickens was upset with how the offense is using him.

"George has some things health-wise that he’s communicating with the offensive staff. He’s had some different things with his hamstring and some other things that tighten up on him in the game. It wasn’t necessarily that we were pulling him out of the game." Pickens was questionable for a bit before the Week 8 matchup as he's dealing with hamstring and shoulder issues.

Jones essentially said the Cowboys limited him for precautionary injury reasons. Jones seems to be pleased with how Pickens and WR1 CeeDee Lamb are doing this season despite the Cowboys' poor performances as a whole. "We just have to continue to go to work every day.

Hopefully this thing comes together. We’re certainly convinced that we can do this.” Pickens's actions may have been over the top on Sunday, but his frustrations are understandable. Either he's frustrated with how the Cowboys fail to secure wins repeatedly this season, or he's frustrated that he couldn't help his team out more because of his injuries.
