Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb suffered a quad bruise during the second quarter of this past Thursday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He attempted to play through the injury, but sustained two more hits to the affected area. Fortunately for Lamb, he had some extra time to rehab and recover as the Cowboys prepare for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Lamb notched full participation in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, and is not expected to have any limitations for this weekend's primetime "Sunday Night Football" clash. Got a lot of time to rest. Got a lot of time to get some rehab.
So, kind of back to square one now," Lamb told reporters on Thursday, per team insider Jon Machota of The Athletic. Lamb finished last week's loss with just two catches for nine yards. The week prior, he reeled in a whopping 17 catches for 189 and a touchdown in a win over the Houston Texans.
The Cowboys are 2-3 on the season as they head into Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Packers.
