Finding The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake's Kakariko Cucco locations seems like a chore too bothersome to deal with. A farmer lost her seven chickens, and she wants your help finding them and bringing them back to their little fenced-off area. She's got a very good reward for you, though, so the task is definitely worth your time, even if it isn't the most straightforward to complete.
Below, we show you where to find all the Kakariko Cucco locations in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The distressed farmer needs you to find seven escaped Cuccos, of which only a few are immediately visible. Inaccessible as a couple of the locations might seem, you can find all seven chickens during your first visit to Kakariko Village before setting foot in Dodongo Cavern — and you should.
Your reward for bringing them safely home to roost is an empty bottle, and those are among the most important items in the game. You can find the Cuccos in any order. We've just numbered them in the order we happened to run across them.
Note that some of the birds wander from the location shown in these images, though they remain in the same general area. The first one is in the northern part of the village on a ledge near a home. This one wanders, so it might be in front of the house or behind it.
The second Cucco managed to trap itself in a wooden box just to the south of the first one, nestled against the side of a house. Smack the box with your sword or roll into it to break it, and then take the chicken back home. Number three is wandering along the path that leads back to Hyrule Field in the western part of the village.
Cucco number four is lazing around the construction site underneath the wooden scaffolding. There's a Gold Skulltula on the platform above it, too, so make sure to grab that after you take the Cucco home. The next one is on a pile of bricks in the south-central part of the village.
