Veteran running back Derrick Henry has been excellent for the Baltimore Ravens through the first three games of his 2026 campaign. In Sunday's Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys, Henry rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns — bringing his season totals to 301 yards and a league-leading six rushing scores. However, Henry's day could have been even bigger had he been able to convert on some short-yardage situations.
The 32-year-old ball carrier was stuffed on the goal line multiple times, and failed to move the chains on a few crucial short-yardage plays. Henry was hit behind the line of scrimmage on several of these plays, indicating an issue with the offensive line. But, the veteran running back is refusing to blame anyone other than himself.
I ain’t looking at anybody else. I have to make it happen someway, somehow," Henry told reporters on Wednesday, via team insider Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. The Ravens are preparing for a Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, where Henry spent the first eight years of his all-time great NFL career.
Sunday's game will kick off at 1 p.m.
