Disney+ viewers will be ringing in the new year with Ryan Secrest and “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” ABC and Dick Clark Productions announced Wednesday that “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2027” will simulcast on Disney+ for the first time this year, along with its usual live broadcast on ABC. Seacrest will be back as host and once again be joined by singer and “The Masked Singer” panelist Rita Ora as co-host from Times Square in New York. Also back are Julianne Hough and Rob Gronkowski in pre-taped performances from Las Vegas.

Joining from Chicago will be comedian and creator Druski. Additional details, including performers, will be announced at a later date. The 2026 edition of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” expanded to eight hours — making it the longest telecast in the show’s more than 50-year history.

The telecast included 42 performers and four live countdown celebrations, with performances from Times Square, Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, Nashville Kansas City and more. Appearances last year included Diana Ross in Times Square, as well as 4 Non Blondes, 50 Cent, AJR, The All-American Rejects, BigXthaPlug, Chance the Rapper, Chappell Roan, Charlie Puth, Ciara, Daddy Yankee, Demi Lovato, DJ Cassidy’s “Pass The Mic Live!” with Busta Rhymes, T.I. and Wyclef Jean, Goo Goo Dolls, Jess Glynne, Jessie Murph, Jordan Davis, Le Sserafim, Leon Thomas, Little Big Town, Madison Beer, Maren Morris, Mariah Carey, New Kids on the Block, OneRepublic, Pitbull, Post Malone, Rick Springfield, Russell Dickerson, Tucker Wetmore, Zara Larsson and others. The special landed its best ratings in four years; according to live+3 day numbers, at the midnight mark when 2025 turned into 2026, a huge 30.01 million viewers were tuned in.

And during the key 11:30 p.m. ET time frame, the average viewership averaged 19.606 million viewers, with a 5.00 rating in adults 18-49. The telecast was also simulcast in iHeartRadio, reaching 2 million listeners across nearly 150 stations, up 9% from the previous year.
