DIRECTV is making a play for sports fans just as the fall calendar hits its busiest stretch, rolling out a discount on its sports-focused streaming pack that bundles ESPN Unlimited Plan, NFL RedZone from NFL Network and dozens of other live sports channels. The streamer’s MySports Genre Pack is currently discounted to $49.99 for the first month, down from its regular $64.99 monthly price, for new customers.

The package also comes with a five-day free trial and includes ESPN’s new Unlimited plan at no additional cost. The deal supports the pro football season that is now underway and the college football season as it heads into another packed month that will see dozens of games air across ABC and ESPN networks, including ranked teams and ranked-vs.-ranked matchups. In addition to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNews, MySports includes NFL Network, FS1, FS2, CBS Sports Network, Big Ten Network, SEC Network, NBA TV, NHL Network, MLB Network, TNT, TBS and truTV.

Local ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC affiliates are also, though availability varies by location. NFL RedZone from NFL Network, of course, is designed for Sunday afternoons, jumping between games and showing scoring plays from across the league. It makes the add-on particularly useful for viewers who want to follow multiple teams without purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket.

NFL Sunday Ticket itself is not included with DIRECTV and remains a separate subscription through YouTube and YouTube TV. The MySports deal extends well beyond football, too, arriving just in time for a packed fall sports calendar: Baseball’s postseason began on Sept. 29 with the Wild Card Series on NBC and Peacock, followed by the Division Series on Oct. 3, with the American League rounds airing on TBS and truTV and the National League rounds on Fox and FS1 before the World Series begins Oct. 23 on Fox. The 2026-27 NHL season started in September, while the NBA regular season tips off Oct. 20, with ESPN beginning its coverage the following night with Timberwolves-Heat and Warriors-Lakers.

TBS, truTV, FS1, ESPN, NBA TV and TNT are all included with MySports. Perhaps the biggest perk, though, is the ESPN Unlimited Plan, which is included with MySports rather than requiring another standalone subscription. The offering gives subscribers access to ESPN’s full suite of linear networks along with programming available through ESPN’s streaming service.

This offer is available to new customers only. Service auto-renews after the free trial and one-month promo at then-prevailing rate (curr. $64.99/mo.) unless you cancel. Available in select sales channels only; pricing may vary through third parties.
