Jalen Hurts is entering yet another NFL campaign with a new offensive coordinator, this time under first-time OC Sean Mannion. Hurts and the Eagles' offense struggled under now-former OC Kevin Patullo in 2025, failing to backup their Super Bowl campaign from the year prior. During a recent radio appearance, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was asked about the narrative that this is a "make or break" year for Hurts as the franchise's quarterback.
"No, I don't agree," Roseman replied. "All the guy does is win football games. ... All he does is go out and play good football.
Really excited to have him as our quarterback." Hurts is 57-25 as starting quarterback for the Eagles, leading the team to at least 11 regular-season wins in each of his last four seasons. Last year, he completed 64.8% of his pass attempts for 3,224 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions, while rushing for 421 yards and eight more scores on the ground. The Eagles will kickoff their regular-season campaign with a Week 1 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Sept. 13.
