Eminem will release a limited-edition merch collection with streetwear and pop culture brand NERDS Clothing during New York Comic Con next week, including the launch of an original video game. Per the partners, the NYCC debut will feature original artwork created by NERDS, including a unique 16-bit interpretation of Eminem, limited-edition merchandise, a series of hand-embellished arcade cabinets created with New York artist Danny Cortes and the launch of an original game titled “Marshall’s Massacre.” The NERDS x Eminem collection will be available in extremely limited quantities at the NERDS booth (#3253) during New York Comic Con, which runs from Oct. 8-11 at the New York Javits Convention Center. The collection will include: Artist Cortes will create a small, limited run of hand-embellished arcade cabinets inspired by the original 16-bit Eminem artwork created by NERDS which will be showcased at the booth.

Additionally, the collab will include the launch of “Marshall’s Massacre,” an original game created specifically around the Eminem-NERDS partnership which was developed by Fan Arcade, a company specializing in creating interactive gaming experiences for major artists, entertainment properties and brands. The game will be available to play via marshallsmassacre.com. The Eminem-NERDS collab is a huge move for the hip-hop community into New York Comic Con, which has traditionally been more focused on comics, TV, film and video games than music culture.

Since launching in 2011, NERDS has been working to build a bridge between streetwear and geek culture through collaborations with IP including “Street Fighter,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Astro Boy,” WWE and the NBA. More unannounced projects are currently in the works. I’m really proud of what we’ve been able to create around it.”
