Federal authorities arrested a woman accused of trying to obtain materials for an explosive device and plotting an ISIS-inspired attack on the New York State Capitol in Albany. Jessica Bowie, 35, allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS, also known as the Islamic State, and began planning the attack in July, according to an FBI criminal complaint filed Thursday and reported by ABC News. Investigators say Bowie spent weeks surveilling the Capitol, bought bomb-making materials from a store on August 5, and discussed the alleged plot with FBI informants.
