Five teenage boys were stabbed at a Halloween party, after an “unknown group” gained entry to the event on a residential road, police have been told. The boys, all aged 16 and 17, were found injured after police were called to a report five teenagers had been stabbed at a property in Chandler’s Ford near Eastleigh, Hampshire, just after 10.30pm on Saturday. All the victims were taken to hospital with serious injuries, Hampshire and Isle of Wight police said.
Officers at the scene established an “unknown group” had gained entry to a party at a property in Park Road. An investigation was launched and scene-of-crime restrictions remain in place in Park Road and Valley Road. The senior investigating officer, DCI Elizabeth Pirie, said: “We are already hard at work identifying anyone who was at the party who may be able to assist our inquiries, whether that be having directly witnessed what took place, having filmed any footage which may be relevant, or who may be able to help us identify the unknown group.
Liz Jarvis, the MP for Eastleigh, wrote on X on Sunday: “My thoughts are with the victims and their families and all those affected by the incident in Chandler’s Ford last night, and my thanks go to our local police and emergency services for their prompt response.
