Florida Gators star Jadan Baugh will look to continue his historic start to the 2026 CFB season in the team's Week 5 game.

Star running back Jadan Baugh has been the heart and soul of the Florida Gators' offense this season, playing a massive role in the program's 4-0 start to the 2026 season. On Saturday, Baugh could very well break an impressive record showing just how dominant he has been thus far this year. Not only has Baugh gotten Florida in a position to potentially contend at the top of the uber-competitive SEC this year.

But he has quickly emerged as a Heisman Trophy candidate, which is no easy feat for any running back. The standout junior running back has perhaps been the most consistent player in the entire country. In all four of Florida's games thus far this year, Baugh has rushed for at least 100 yards and rushed for multiple touchdowns.

According to ESPN via the ESPN Insights page on X, Baugh would stand alone as the lone player in the last 20 years to rush for at least 100 yards and score multiple rushing touchdowns in each of his first five games to start a college football season should he be able to keep this stretch going against Missouri. That being said, Baugh certainly has shown the ability to overmatch defenses that don't come prepared, which was evident in Florida's biggest win of the year in Week 4 against Ole Miss. So it will certainly be interesting to see whether Baugh can continue his dominant pace to begin the 2026 season in Week 5. Saturday's matchup between the Florida Gators and the Missouri Tigers will kick off at 3:50 p.m.
