After years of fans requesting that Fortnite collaborate with One Piece, it's finally happening. Fortnite Treasure Hunters is all about piracy and anime, which is exactly why the Straw Hat Pirates are coming to the Battle Royale island alongside Kasane Teto, Hatsune Miku, Lil Uzi Vert, and A$AP Rocky. Epic Games has now published the first season trailer, and the month of November is shaping up to be quite exciting for both Fortnite and One Piece fans.
The first Fortnite Treasure Hunters is here, revealing an array of One Piece content coming to Fortnite. It's difficult to know where to start since there is so much to unpack in this trailer. As per usual, the mini-season will have its own island.
The first thing players will notice is that, even though this season is all about anime, the map isn't cel-shaded. It's also skull-shaped, making dropping from the Going Merry ship — the Battle Bus's replacement — onto new named locations even more exciting. Once players land, they will have a selection of One Piece items to choose from.
In the trailer, we can see Luffy's rubber arms, meaning the Gum Gum Pistol ability will be available in-game. Additionally, there is one of Nami's tangerines (probably a healing item), Usopp's slingshot, and Zoro's three-sword attack, which will most likely be a Mythic ability. Fortnite Treasure Hunters begins on Nov. 1, alongside a new season of Fortnite Festival.
It is unknown which skins will be included in the Battle Pass, Festival Pass, November Fortnite Crew Pack, or sold in the Item Shop. From the trailer and previous teasers, here are the confirmed characters coming to Fortnite next season: Similar to Springfielder Peely in The Simpsons mini-season, Sanji might just be the Battle Pass's bonus skin. Epic Games sneaked him into the trailer, but eagle-eyed fans have already spotted him.
His blonde hair is visible in the golden car and the boat, both of which can be seen in the background of various shots.
