GE Aerospace (GE) announced a deal worth nearly $12 billion to acquire long-term supplier Consolidated Precision Products. Shares of GE Aerospace were little changed early Tuesday, while CPP rival Howmet Aerospace (HWM) retreated. A GE Aerospace supplier for 15 years, CPP makes engineered castings, alloys, metals and other aerospace components.
