On the red carpet at the 2026 TIME100 Next Gala in New York City on Oct. 29, actor and comedian Chloe Fineman praised You Can See Everything, the new hit documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder of blood-testing company Theranos. Since its U.S. theatrical release earlier this month, the film has generated praise from critics, sparked heated discourse online, and grossed more than $45 million. Back in 2019, Fineman shared a video of herself impersonating Holmes on Instagram, donning Holmes’ then-signature black turtleneck and heavy black eyeliner—a clip she reshared on TikTok in September, ahead of the film’s release. On the red carpet, Fineman joked that Holmes is a “kindred spirit” because neither of them blink frequently. Fineman went on to say she was “excited” to see what Halloween costumes people come up with this year, inspired by the documentary.
She also shared how one moment in You Can See Everything, in particular, stuck with her: “The egg whisking—a really haunting moment, I think, for many women and men,” Fineman said.
