Four years after The Terminal List first dropped on Prime Video, the long-awaited second season to the hit action-espionage series is finally upon us. Although Reece finished his mission of revenge, he must now embark on a new mission to clear his name. Thanks to some new intel, we know when, exactly, Reece will deploy behind enemy lines.
On Wednesday, October 21, The Terminal List season 2 will begin streaming on Prime Video. Chris Pratt returns as his Navy SEAL commander who is still plagued by throbbing headaches, hazy memories, and a terminal brain tumor caused by a top-secret government drug. But at least Reece has crossed off every name on his list.
In season 2, an attack in London compels the CIA to recruit Reece and track down a former ally accused of terrorism, Mohammed “Mo” Farooq (played by Dar Salim), in exchange for clearing his name. Will Reece turn in an old friend? Or will he once again rebel against his orders?
Season 2 loosely adapts author Jack Carr’s second novel in the Terminal List series, 2019’s True Believer. According to Prime Video, the story will follow James Reece on a new mission that will take him around the world and confront the sins of his past. Season 2 also brings forth a couple new faces to the fold.
The Last of Us star Gabriel Luna joins up as Freddy Strain, a CIA/SAC officer, as well as Edwin Hodge (The Purge), Caitlin Bassett (Quantum Leap), and Tom Hopper, who reprises his role from last year’s prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. We know it’s been a very, very, very long time since we’ve had a new Terminal List to binge. But at long last, there is real forward progression on the saga of James Reece.
With all the imminent Halloween festivities about to fill up your social calendar, you’re in luck if you want to watch all of season 2 before Thanksgiving. The Terminal List season 2 will start streaming in its entirety on Prime Video on October 21. All eight episodes will be available at once, allowing hardcore Jack Carr fans to binge the entire season without ever leaving the couch.
