'I hope Americans are paying attention,' Vance said.

Vice President JD Vance has spoken out against ongoing violent protests in France, blaming "western liberals" for "import[ing] the third world" before warning that Democrats seek a similar future for the U.S. Violent clashes, fires and looting marred demonstrations across France on Saturday as hundreds of thousands of people marched against rising living costs and poor conditions in schools. Some 110 marches drew about 550,000 people across the country, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said.

Around 400 people were arrested nationwide. Multiple shops across the country and at least one municipal police station were damaged in the disorder. The city hall in the town of Limoges, built in 1873, was burned down in the riots.

Vance shared a clip of Limoges engulfed in flames with the caption: "Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen." "I pray that France, a beautiful country of amazing people, will stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn," Vance added.

"And I hope Americans are paying attention. This is the future congressional Democrats seek for your country." This is a developing story - more to follow.
