Goldblum — a regular to the U.K., where he shot both “Wicked” films and toured earlier this year with his band — will take to the stage on Sep 12, marking his third “SNL” appearance, having hosted the U.S. version in 1993 and 1998. The Oscar nominee follows in the footsteps of Tina Fey, who hosted the very first “SNL U.K.” episode in March, with the likes of Nicola Coughlan, Jack Whitehall, Jamie Dornan, Hannah Waddingham and Ncuti Gatwa later hosting in the first season. Alongside Goldblum, “SNL U.K.” has also unveiled Irish singer-songwriter and Brit Award nominee CMAT as the musical guest for the season two opener.
The first season featured bands including Wet Leg, Wolf Alice and Kasabian. Six weekly episodes are planned until Oct 24, with additional shows planned for early 2027. Lorne Michaels serves as executive producer.
James Longman is lead producer. UTAS UK Productions is overseen by managing director Helen Kruger Bratt. Andy Charles Smith serves as lead producer for UTAS U.K.
Productions with Shanna Baynard as executive in charge of production alongside Hannah Peddar, production executive.
