Jennifer Lawrence has cautioned social media users that she will "quit" Instagram if anyone "says anything negative". The 36-year-old created a public account on Wednesday, rapidly attracting more than 1.8 million followers. In her inaugural video post, the Hollywood star issued a clear warning to any potential comment section trolls.

She said: "I’m giving it a shot, and if anyone says anything negative, I will quit immediately. If anyone thinks something mean, I’ll know. I’ll know and I’ll quit." In her bio, Lawrence noted that she adopted the handle jlaw because her full name was already taken.
