The director of the recent Robbie Williams documentary will next set his cameras on Jessica Simpson, Netflix announced Thursday. BAFTA-nominated director Joe Pearlman — who also helmed Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now, Mourinho, and Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts — will guide the Simpson doc, which arrives on Netflix in 2027. After a 15-year hiatus from original music, Jessica returned to recording and performing with her two 2025 Nashville Canyon EPs.
