According to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero, Cooper is believed to have suffered a high ankle sprain. In addition, Pelissero reported that Cooper is having an MRI on Monday to determine how severe the injury is. This is brutal news for Cooper, as he is just getting his NFL career started and was already making an impact for the Jets.
Before suffering his injury against the Titans, he recorded a 30-yard reception and stood out. Due to this, it is unfortunate that his debut had to end in this way. Cooper was selected by the Jets in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 30th overall.
