The NFL season rolls along on Sunday with 14 games as part of Week 4, and one of the more intriguing matchups of the day pits the 1-2 New York Jets against the 2-1 Chicago Bears. The Jets have kept things close the last two weeks, but they lost to Green Bay and Detroit after beating Tennessee in Week 1. The Bears had a blowout win of Carolina in Week 1 but lost to Minnesota in a low-scoring affair, losing quarterback Caleb Williams in the process.
But veteran journeyman Case Keenum led Chicago to a blowout win over Philadelphia on Monday. The Bears are listed as 3.5-point favorites in the latest Jets vs. Bears odds at DraftKings, while the total for points scored is set at 42.5.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on betting sites on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model entered Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season on a 54-43 run on top-rated picks dating back to 2024. Anybody following its picks at NFL betting sites could have seen strong returns.
The Jets have a case to be the NFL's best 1-2 team. They had no problems dispatching the Titans in Week 1, but they lost in overtime to the Packers in Week 2 and fell by a score against the Lions last week. Geno Smith has played well, completing 75.5% of his passes for 783 yards and four touchdowns.
The big blow for the Jets here is that running back Breece Hall (quad) is unlikely to play, pushing Braelon Allen into more of a lead role. As for the Bears, all three of their games have been very different. They blew out the Panthers in a high-scoring affair in Week 1, lost 9-6 against Minnesota in Week 2 and then beat down the Eagles 27-7 on Monday Night Football to wrap up Week 3.
