An Amazon cargo plane that overshot the runway in Miami and crashed on Sunday, killing five people, left behind a scene of “utter devastation,” according to the National Transportation Safety Board. The crash strew “fuel everywhere” across the impact site, while a Ford van with seven people inside it when it was hit was “torn apart,” NTSB chair Jennifer Homendy told reporters on Monday in Miami.
