The Los Angeles Rams can't afford to continue without defensive end Myles Garrett. Canty, who won Super Bowl XLVI as a member of the New York Giants, is of the belief that the current odds-on favorites could see their hopes dashed by losing just one player. "If [Myles Garrett] doesn't come back sooner rather than later, their season's going to be over," Canty said on Tuesday's episode of "First Take." It's safe to say that opinion probably isn't very popular, especially given the fact that same defense made other significant additions -- cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, and defensive lineman Aaron Donald -- but it also suffered some losses.

Roger McCreary signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions. Nick Hampton signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers. Oh yeah, they also got their butts kicked by the San Francisco 49ers, 27-7, in Australia.
Canty might be understating just how good the overall roster is, but he might not be wrong about their overall ceiling.
