One of White's favorite DFS picks for Thursday, where every player is $5,500 on DraftKings and $6,000 on FanDuel, is 49ers quarterback Adrian Martinez. The 2024 UFL MVP and Championship Game MVP has led the Niners in pass attempts in both preseason contests. He also scored on the ground last week and was second on the team in rushing yards in the exhibition opener.
The Niners didn't play Brock Purdy or Mac Jones in last year's preseason finale, as White expects Martinez to see the bulk of action. "The 49ers' playing time plan should be similar to the first preseason game where Martinez threw the ball 30 times, and he's a candidate to get into the end zone as a runner," White told SportsLine. He's also building around Rams tight end Max Klare, who has drawn at least six targets in both preseason games, converting those into 11 catches for 59 yards.
