Week 2 of the College Football season is set to feature several high-profile quarterbacks looking to stake their claim for potentially being the top quarterback selected in the upcoming 2027 NFL Draft. A number of these high-profile quarterbacks expected to potentially declare for the 2027 NFL Draft are set to face off against one another. Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning is set to host Ohio State and Junior quarterback Julian Sayin, while Oregon star quarterback Dante Moore will face off against recent transfer Drew Mestemaker and the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
These two matchups could seemingly go a long way in potentially helping NFL scouts decide what quarterback could be first off the board in the 2027 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, 20 NFL scouts and executives from 13 NFL teams will be in Stillwater for Saturday's Oregon-Oklahoma State matchup.
Going into Saturday's slate of games, NFL scouts seemingly already have a strong lean as to who they believe will be the top quarterback off the board in the 2027 NFL Draft. In a poll conducted by ESPN made up of 25 anonymous NFL scouts and executives, Oregon's Dante Moore received 14 votes to be the top quarterback selected in the 2027 NFL Draft. Arch Manning received just seven votes to be the first quarterback off the draft board.

But on paper, Manning may have his hands full in a matchup with the Buckeyes that has already given him fits early on in this collegiate career. Last season, Manning and the Texas Longhorns offense struggled greatly against a stout Ohio State defense, scoring just seven points in a 14-7 loss to the Buckeyes in their season opening game.
Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns will face off against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EST, while Oregon and Oklahoma State will kick off at 1:30 p.m.
