The Pro Football Hall of Fame is removing nearly two dozen members of its voting committee in 2026. Tennessee Titans beat reporter Paul Kuharsky, who was among those informed he was being removed, published a list of 23 of 23 names that were informed would no longer be part of the selection committee, including former head coach Tony Dungy, former executive Bill Polian, and ESPN reporter Lisa Salters. The Hall has informed three other voters of their removal, though they are not yet known.
Jim Trotter, Mike Sando, Charean Williams, Calvin Watkins, Gary Myers, Jeff Legwold, Ira Kaufman, Howard Balzer, and Vahe Gregorian are among those remaining in position to vote. Gregorian is among those to acknowledge that he did not vote for Bill Belichick in his first year of eligibility in 2025 -- with many people believing the legendary head coach's snub is the reason for the rule changes.
