Olivia Colman has joined the London-set sixth season of “Only Murders in the Building.” The Oscar winner was revealed as the Hulu series’ latest guest star in a video posted on its Instagram account on Tuesday featuring cast members Selena Gomez, Meryl Streep and Martin Short. Indeed, Season 6 of “Only Murders in the Building” is stacked with Britain’s best and brightest (and many former “Doctor Who” stars). Beyond Colman, those joining the cast include David Tennant, Sharon Horgan, Martin Freeman, Jim Broadbent, Jennifer Saunders, Geri Halliwell, Nicola Coughlan, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Jodie Whittaker, Rhea Norwood, Richard Ayoade, Amar Chadha-Patel, Matthew Beard, Jamie Demetriou, Anjana Vasan, Jane Horrocks, Derek Jacobi, Adrian Lukis, Kathryn Hunter, Lesley Nicol and Peter Capaldi.
Alongside Gomez, Short and Streep, Steve Martin is also returning, as is Michael Cyril Creighton. Season 6 is currently in production in the U.K. and will see its amateur detective crew venture across the pond to continue their investigation into the death of Cinda Canning, as seen in the Season 5 finale. A Season 6 release date has not yet been set.
