Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a 99-31 regular-season record as a starting quarterback, setting him up to secure his 100th career win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. A victory over the division-rival Chargers would see Mahomes join Tom Brady as the quickest players in NFL history to reach that 100-win mark (131 regular-season games). Brady secured his 100th career regular-season win in a "Monday Night Football" victory over the Miami Dolphins in 2010.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion holds firm control of the all-time record for regular-season wins with 251, leading Brett Favre (188) and Peyton Manning (187). Mahomes and the Chiefs are 4-0 to begin the 2026 NFL season, and are heavy favorites over the 0-5 Chargers. The Chiefs notched a disappointing record in 2025, finishing 6-11 and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Mahomes tore his ACL in Week 15 of that uncharacteristic season. Through the Chiefs' first four games of the 2026 season, Mahomes has completed 64.1% of his pass attempts for 1,037 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions. Sunday's game against the Chargers will kick off at 4:25 p.m.
ET from Arrowhead Stadium.
