The Lost Weekend singer says her upcoming U.K. show dates will be rescheduled while she recovers from appendicitis

Phoebe Bridgers fans in the U.K. are unfortunately in for a bit of a lost weekend. The Punisher singer, who celebrated her 32nd birthday on Aug. 17, announced on Instagram that several of her upcoming U.K. shows will have to be rescheduled after Bridgers was diagnosed with appendicitis. Appendicitis is considered a medical emergency and occurs when the organ gets sore or inflamed.

But according to Johns Hopkins, appendicitis is the “most common cause” of sudden stomach pain and can be fixed with surgery and a few days of recovery.
