Montreal, Canada – Quebec separatists look set to return to power in Canada’s majority French-speaking province next week after more than a decade in opposition, promising an independence referendum after U.S. President Donald Trump leaves office. The Parti Quebecois (PQ) has steadily led the polls ahead of the Oct. 5 provincial vote.
