Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has missed each of his team's last two games since suffering an ankle injury in Week 4. Jackson missed each practice session leading up to Week 5's win over the Atlanta Falcons, and once again failed to take the field as the Ravens prepared for this past weekend's loss to the Cleveland Browns. On Wednesday, Jackson was once again not spotted during the open media portion of practice.
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter recently described Jackson as "day-to-day" with his ankle injury, listed as questionable to play in Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was asked about Jackson's status when speaking with reporters on Wednesday. "He's working to get back.
He's working every day, doing what he needs to do to get back on the field," Flowers said. "That's all you can do when you're injured — just do everything you can to get back on the field." If Jackson is unable to take the field for his third consecutive game in Week 7, the Ravens will once again be led by backup quarterback Tyler Huntley.
