If you missed the headlines this morning, Ross Lynch is now a married man…and if you’re thinking, “Um, I didn’t even know he was dating anyone,” you’re not alone. Despite hard-launching his relationship status at the Heartland premiere—telling People, “Yes, yes I am,” when asked if he was married—the actor and musician has yet to even confirm his wife’s name, much less how they met or how long they’ve been together. Luckily, I’ve done the work of piecing together Ross’s very low-key relationship history for you, from his Teen Beach Movie love triangle, to his six-year relationship with his Chilling Adventures of Sabrina costar, to his mysterious new wife (!!).

Okay, it’s unclear if these two actually dated, but Ross did tell Cosmo (hi!) during an April 2019 interview that he was involved in “a love triangle” on the set of Disney’s Teen Beach Movie. Again, this one was only ever rumored, but fans suspect that Ross’s Teen Beach Movie costar Maia was possibly the other person involved in the supposed “love triangle.” The reason?
While chatting with Hollywood Life in June 2015, Ross shared that he and Maia had an unscripted kiss in the sequel film. It wasn’t scripted and the director didn’t tell us to do it and we just did it and hopefully it makes it in the movie!” Oh, and he also added that he thought Maia was a good kisser. In September 2015, Ross became Instagram-official with Yellowjackets star Courtney after reportedly meeting on the set of the movie Status Update.
The two went on to date for just about two years before going their separate ways, with Courtney being described as Ross’s “then-girlfriend” during a November 2017 interview with W. A month later in December 2017, Ross and Courtney were spotted having lunch together, but it doesn’t seem like they ever officially reconciled. Dating rumors about these two began shortly after Ross and Jaz met on the set of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but they really ramped up after Ross’s sister Rydel shared a Snapchat of Ross and Jaz kissing on New Year's Eve in 2018.
However, when asked about their relationship by Entertainment Tonight later that month, Ross insisted that Jaz was just his “closest friend.” Mmkay. Just a few months later in April 2019, Us Weekly caught the couple getting cozy in NYC, and at long last in January 2020, the costars finally made their red carpet debut together at the Balmain show in Paris. The couple kept fans swooning for the next couple of years until June 2023, when a fan shared a video of Lynch discussing heartbreak during one of his live shows with his band The Driver Era, sparking breakup rumors.
Following his split from Jaz (and rumors of a brief relationship with a woman named Indie Wolper), Ross seemingly soft-launched a new romance on TikTok in September 2024, which sent fans into a frenzy. A few months later, Ross hinted that there was someone new in his life during a January 2025 interview with radio show Smallzy’s Surgery. Talking about The Driver Era song “Same Old Story,” Ross said, “It’s like really recent—like, maybe, I’m talking like a month ago.
