The Tennessee Titans fell to 0-4 Sunday after another brutal loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore jumped out early and led 24-7 by halftime, and Tennessee didn't score again until a 33-yard field goal in the third quarter. Cam Ward finally got the Titans into the end zone late, hitting Wan'Dale Robinson for a touchdown with about a minute left, and Tennessee converted the two-point try.
It was too little, too late, though. The Ravens also picked up 13 penalties for 131 yards, but Tennessee's offense again struggled to get back in the game. And once again, much of the blame has fallen on Ward.
Speaking with reporters after the game, Titans head coach Robert Saleh fired back at critics and again backed his young quarterback. "We have the utmost confidence in Cam … The kid's gonna be a damn good quarterback. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and let him grow.
If you can't objectively sit down and watch the tape and look at him from Week 1 last year to Week 1 this year to Week 4 yesterday and not see improvement in a young man who's trending in the right direction, then you're just being biased to your own opinion." His 33.2 QBR was the worst in the NFL. The Titans acted quickly, bringing in several new pieces to surround Ward, including Robinson and Carnell Tate, the top receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft.
They also hired offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, who has a long history of developing quarterbacks, including Josh Allen in Buffalo and Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa at Alabama. But so far this season, Ward hasn't looked much better. He has thrown for just 726 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions, and the Titans are still searching for their first win.

The offense finally got Tate more involved, and he finished with a game-high 145 receiving yards on nine catches. And ultimately, the Titans were still just one score away from winning the game.
