Tottenham and Everton are in advanced talks over two players - Iliman Ndiaye and Richarlison. Spurs have approached Everton to sign winger Ndiaye, with Cody Gakpo likely to go to Manchester City if he leaves Liverpool. Everton want to sign Richarlison and are believed to be willing to make him an attractive offer.
The fee would have to be right for Everton to sell Ndiaye, but he has rejected multiple new contract offers from the club. He has also been on City's target list for a new forward. Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi admitted on Saturday that Richarlison is one of three players who has asked to leave before the deadline.
The other two are Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr. De Zerbi also wants to sign a new forward before the deadline. Chelsea's Pedro Neto has also been on their radar but it looks like they are moving for Ndiaye.
Manchester City have opened talks with Liverpool to sign Cody Gakpo. Liverpool will be considering their situation given contact has come late in the window. One source told Sky Sports News a potential move for the winger has advanced in Manchester City's direction amid the interest of Tottenham.
Discussions are also under way over personal terms for the Netherlands international. Liverpool are on the verge of signing Bradley Barcola from PSG for £106m rising to £123m, while Victor Munoz arrived from Osasuna earlier this summer. Play Super 6 for a chance to win £1m!
