Tottenham have confirmed the signing of winger Savio from Manchester City in an £85m deal. Sky Sports News understands Spurs will pay an initial £75m for the 22-year-old, with a further £10m available in add-ons. It is understood that £5m of the potential bonuses are effectively guaranteed, meaning City could receive at least £80m from the deal.
Tottenham have finally signed long-term target Savio, formerly known as Savinho at City, after failing to sign the Brazil international last summer. Savio's arrival takes Spurs' spending this summer past the £300m barrier. Meanwhile, his sale is a club record for Man City, surpassing Julian Alvarez's £82m move to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2024.
