After a thrilling 24-23 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian faced scrutiny for his postgame behavior. Texas had just completed a huge 21-point fourth-quarter comeback to defeat the No. 1 team. Moments after the game ended, as players and coaches celebrated on the field, ESPN tried to do its standard postgame interviews with the winning head coach and a player.
Sarkisian appeared on camera, standing beside Holly Rowe. However, as soon as the interview started and Rowe attempted to ask a question, Sarkisian quickly cut her off. "That’s called Texas fight!
Hook ’em!" Sarkisian shouted before flashing the "Hook 'em Horns" gesture and abruptly rushing off. Rowe certainly looked disappointed in the moment. ESPN quickly cut to a different interview with sideline reporter Laura Rutledge standing beside Texas quarterback Arch Manning, who did a much longer interview reacting to the game and talking about what just happened on the field.

After all, it seemed like he was being rude to Rowe, rather than at least offering some comments about the win. "You’d think for 5 million a year you could act like a human being," one commenter wrote.
"Holly didn't deserve this. She works her tail off every day for her job. She works behind the scenes everyday for interviews like this," another commented.
Someone wrote, "Man just do the quick minute-two interview. You just beat #1." Others said, "What a loser. First ducking the halftime interview, now this," and "What a [expletive].
