Robert Pattinson and Zendaya have a lot in common: They’re both Earth signs, they’ve both starred in superhero movies, they both appear in three of this year’s biggest movies (The Drama, The Odyssey, and Dune: Part Three), and—most importantly—no one could figure out whether either one of them was married...until pretty recently, that is. It’s been a minute since Robert and his longtime love, Suki Waterhouse, welcomed their first child together (and nearly three years since they got engaged), but Suki FINALLY cleared up her relationship status with Robert—and unlike Zendaya and Tom Holland, they’re not actually married! During a new interview with the Sunday Times, Suki confirmed that she and Robert haven’t yet tied the knot and aren’t ruling out a “massive” wedding.

News, saying Suki and Robert are simply “casually dating.” The Daily Mail out of nowhere, randomly reports that Robert and Suki have broken up. But before long, Lainey Gossip disputes the claim, pointing out that on top of being seen together at a Miguel show in L.A., Robert and Suki both attended TIFF at the same time: The couple is spotted leaving a Christmas party at 5 a.m. in photos published by the good ol’ Daily Mail. At this point, Robert and Suki are getting papped a ton and are seen enjoying a stroll through London in photos published by People.
Robert is interviewed by the Sunday Times and makes it clear that he will not be talking about Suki: “Do I have to [talk about her]? If you let people in, it devalues what love is,” he says. If you put up a wall, it ends up better...I can’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it’s the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo.” He concludes with, “The line between when you’re performing and when you’re not will eventually get washed away and you’ll go completely mad.” Fair!!
Robert and Suki get papped while celebrating his birthday in photos published by People. In other words, they are Still! The pair is spotted on a double date with, um, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn (?!?!?!) at San Vicente Bungalows in Hollywood, where a source tells Us Weekly they “were laughing and talking” all night and “were at a table, just the four of them.” Oh, and apparently, “Rob and Taylor were across from each other,” in case you were curious about the seating arrangement for whatever reason.
Robert and Suki make a suuuper-rare public appearance together at a Dior dinner during Paris Fashion Week. And naturally, engagement rumors are sparked thanks to that ring ^^^ on Suki’s finger. While chatting with GQ, Robert lets it slip that he’s staying “with his girlfriend” in a London apartment during quarantine.
