Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story is still blooming, even after their wedding. The music superstar appeared at Kelce’s first game of the season, where he laced up to play tight end for another season for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 14. The Monday Night Football season opener took place in Kansas City against the Denver Broncos.
None other than Tom Cruise. But the superstar also appeared at the Emmys at the same time, in a “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” sketch that was meta about Taylor dropping clues that she was showing up at the Emmys. Kelce has played with the Chiefs since 2013 and has won three Super Bowls with the organization.
Swift has been a frequent fixture at Kelce’s games since they first started publicly dating. The increased spotlight on the NFL as a result, especially from young female fans, has inspired the league to embrace them and hopefully convert them into forever fans. The couple made waves over the summer by throwing a massive wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
